Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be confident before you pay. This policy explains the free trial, how subscription cancellation works, and when we give refunds.
1. Try before you buy
Every customer can use Pigeon Pedigree Manager Pro free for 7 days (up to 25 birds and 3 PDF exports) with no card and no obligation. We encourage you to use the trial to make sure the software suits you before purchasing.
2. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a monthly or annual subscription at any time — from Settings inside the app, or from your Payfast account. Cancellation stops all future billing. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the app becomes read-only (your data stays viewable and exportable). We do not charge cancellation fees, and we do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a current billing period.
3. Goodwill refund window
If you are not satisfied with a first-time subscription payment or a lifetime purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of that payment. Because a free trial is available and licence access is delivered immediately, this window is offered as a goodwill measure; we may decline it where it is being abused (for example, repeated buy-and-refund cycles). Renewal payments on an ongoing subscription are not covered — cancel before the renewal date to avoid them.
4. Faulty software or activation problems
If the app will not install, will not activate, or does not work substantially as described, contact us and we will help you fix it. If we cannot resolve the problem within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a refund. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002.
5. How to request a refund
Email msaadiq64@gmail.com with your licence key and proof of payment (the Payfast confirmation or the email we sent you). Approved refunds are paid back to your original payment method through Payfast, normally within 5 to 10 business days. When a refund is issued, the associated licence is deactivated.
